Hello there! I'd like to volunteer for one or more of the Falcon 9 flights, perhaps Dragon 10 or 11. That should give me time to get all of the aditional addons working, and practice flying the thing. Thanks.

I have designed mission patches for Ariane 6-Neesys and STS-142 missions. I'l upload them later (they are handrawn and need to upload it to my computer). I will make more if they are aproved, the 2 Dragon flights are on the way.

We could start with the basic NASA Shuttle skin and add the OFSS to the tail or side of the fuselage :) Anywhere where the 'decal' won't get burnt up on re-entry. We can always use real NASA air&space craft and see where the project logos are usually placed.

Pending OFSS II boss approval of course!

OFSS Boss approves! Given as the Space Shuttle in this alternate reality was bought by commercial companies -- this would be appropriate! However I don't advise you to post this to orbithangar without David413's approval.

They're not much, and could use some colouring, but for now, that's all I could think of. :lol:

FWIW - OFSS 2 Dragon 9 will launch on the 8th anniversary of the Columbia tragedy. The scenario will include a touching easter egg in remembrance to the fallen crew.

Patches - looks promising :) If we can digitise it and run it through photoshop it could come out like a hand-sewn mission patch.

Could look more authentic than a purely computer generated emblem.

Or... I could use the pencil version, source for some suitable source artwork and create a patch based on that :)

Well, I don't have Photoshop nor experience in editing photos, but if you or someone could do it, I could provide the ''pencil version'' (or anyone else who wants to design them).

Also reminder -- Tex's mission is on Monday, I'll post the scenario for said file into the 'post-flight scenario' thread for all to play once Tex posts his screenshots (or movie) on the forum.

Good news! I actually managed to dock the Dragon to the ISS as a test yesterday, wasn't as hard as I thought it would be once I remembered what I was supposed to be doing. So the actual mission should be no problem, right guys?

Also, I whipped up a possible mission patch for my flight...

I sent a PM to Kyle last night, maybe I should post this here too. I'm having a problem with my mission, getting a CTD on scenario load. I installed all of the addons in a clean Orbiter 2010-P1 install, but is there a particular order I need to install them? Are there any specific modules I need activated which I don't have already?

I'd love to join, the simplest spacecraft I can fly is the Space Shuttle.

If I recall, the Space shuttle fleet shuttles dont have autopilots, but I can fly it manually :)
