Installation Orbiter crashing upon scenario launch

Hello, I have just installed Orbiter for the first time and am having trouble running any scenario- Orbiter crashes after doing so. I have tried with various graphics, on downloads from both zip and MSI, and with and without D3D9 and DirectX (although I may have installed these incorrectly, they are not present currently and the below logs should've been created on instances where they were not installed). I have seen posts on here outlining a similar issue, but I haven't been able to find a solution that has worked for me so far. Here is the log:

Update: Ive messed around with various graphics settings on both the laptop and the orbiter video tab to no avail. I feel like it must be a setup-related issue, as different scenarios show different logs, not pointing to a common problem.

Same errors. Followed a video, made sure to unzip/extract everything correctly. Does not work without or with D3D9. Upon normal launch same issue as described above. With D3D9, the launchpad stops responding after I select D3D9 in the modules tab, and the option glitches and disappears. Is there any particular way to install DirectX which I may have done incorrectly? I followed the install .exe and it seems that simple, so not sure what else there is that I could be missing.

However, I imagine the error from the console is bc I don't have D3D9 enabled- as I cant enable it without it glitching and the orbiter launcher becoming unresponsive.

Yeah, but that is what I'd like to see... it might write something in the log.

The log wont load when I enable D3D9 in the launcher- says 0kb and that it is already being used.

Hmm, nothing obvious there... except maybe the instalation folder.
Could you move the Orbiter folder from C:\ to your Documents or User folder? Windows somehow might not like the current location.

I noticed this error in your first log similar to this thread:


thanks, asbjos. But I found a solution.
This thing is caused by my region.
I tried my simulation in South Korea,
But this program runs when I'm on 'United States'.

Yeah, stupid region also blocks me from playing 'PUBG Lite'(My personal Favorite) 'cause it has to be runned at Thailand.
So, I tried changing my PC's region to US. And it got fixed.
