My copy is brand new from sony and is ~$100 only because I got the dvd architect.

You could find e-bay or amazon to be a lot cheaper anyway.

I seriously doubt you got Vegas Pro for $100. :P
 
For those making videos for the contest or whenever, I have posted a settings guide for FRAPS on my forum. You can check it out linked below. I show you how I use my FRAPS, things like removing cursor etc.

ahhh :censored: I just remembered I will be away from internet access over the next few weeks. I will miss the entire voting process. :(

well darn, the video I just made was partially already made by Tex! guess I won't score big on Originality! darn-it any way, what makes me more upset is that mine sucks compared to Tex's! I just found STS-120 mp3 of the launch And I light bulb turned on, but after several hours of intense labor I realized my video sucks and someone already did it. That person ironically is incharge of the whole contest! maybe I should make another one! 6 days :( I'll try to do a different launch if I feel like it. i'll submit this one and see where it goes. its still processing ill have to wait. in the mean time watch my apollo 11 teaser!

Could of been better, you had the ATC sounds on with apollo 11, the ET cam was not in place like the ET was moving not the ground, make it look more like its attached to the ET, but good job.

aw thx dude! I dreaded id record atc, thats why it studders when i cut it but some still leaked in , i guess ill have to get rid of that. ill consider reshooting. ne ways i got to go to the dentist so ill work on that later. at 3:20 it starts to look more and more fake.

ok publishing final. didnt reshoot. just had some better transitions, alot better than the original. synced the audio a little better so the credits go with the song. got rid of the apollo 11 radio chatter. I'll get rid of the old version once this is done being submitted and published.

I'll check out your video a little later as I am working on the forum at the moment, but sorry to hear you just found my STS-120 video after making yours.. :( I am not entering the contest so I think your STS-120 video will be fine. Can't wait to watch all the videos, I'm going to wait until they're all submitted and give a proper viewing of each. :)

Please review the rules for the contest in the first post of this thread.

You'll need to remove all but the one video you're entering the contest with and it can be no longer than 10min which is the limit allowed on You Tube. Multi-part videos will not be accepted and will be removed from this thread. I'll allow you time to decide which video you're entering.

So I've been doing all this work for nothing?:cry: I guess I'll have to choose wisely... I think I got a little too excited about this :)
Whens the next Film Contest? Will you change the rules up a little next time? or are the rules to be used for all film contests?
 
Sorry about that, but the rules have been posted since the beginning of the contest. ;)

It's not set rules for every contest, just this one. 10 minutes is about the max length anyone will stay entertained enough to watch, so trying to make a video longer would probably hurt you more than help. You can fit alot of stuff in 10 minutes.

Don't be sorry it was my fault, My dad is a space fanatic and he was intrested in the 2 parts that are done. Through the entire 22 minutes, I thought people that use orbiter would love a video in detail of an STS Mission from start to finish. Wouldn't you? Well I'll hope I can submit my 3 videos in the next contest.

anyways I try to edit and cut things to shorter lengths but I cant... I'm always trying to make it as realistic as I can. I thought it would make people more interested not bored to death. I guess your right, no one wants to watch 30 minutes of a slow moving Canadarm! I'll post all parts and extra footage on the video post forum so look out for that if you want to see all my videos.

EDIT: Ithought hard and I chose this one :) if you like it please comment or rate it plz! Please check out my other videos! My original STS-120 launch... well lets just say it sucked @$$. I have 4 good launch videos, look for SRB Right Cam launch, SRB Left Cam Launch, and External Tank Cam Launch in the "More from Rainbowsixoperator" menu.
