I needed to create a calculator to convert from Right Ascension and Declination in J2000 epoch to apparent altitude and azimuth from any given arbitrary position and time, so I created this spreadsheet. It will automatically precess the RA and Dec to the epoch of observation and also accounts for atmospheric refraction when calculating the apparent altitude. Enter the right ascension in hours minutes seconds, and the declination in degrees (positive or negative) minutes (always positive) and seconds (always positive). Also enter the observation time, location, atmospheric pressure, and temperature. Out will pop the altitude and azimuth. Just thought it might be of general use to anyone doing observational calculations so here it is:
