sts 3

What happen to Antelope Valley?. I can't find the download

Redid the cargo for sts 2 and 3. I noticed that they had those yellow/black guides on them
eHvqwGF.jpg

STS-2 DEFI has the guides for the IECM on top
ExFncww.jpg

STS3 the pallet had the guides for the PDP, which is attached to the RMS

Confused

In SF if you add the line OMS
STS guidance
"
NOTE This beta version of STS Guidance MFD REQUIRES ENDEAVOUR V2.0
(or other V2.0 shuttles) and will only operate correctly if the line
'OMS' is in the Shuttle section of the scenario file you are flying."

The OMS direction of thrust is:
VECTOR3 THRUSTDIR_OMSL = { 0.10, -0.23, 0.97 }

So as I understand it when OMS is there now the Thrust direct is -.10,0,.99 or is it 0,0,1 so OMS fire along the Z axis?

Does it matter?

We got the STS guidance to work. BUt not sure how it use it.

I keep going back and forth on the GAS (Get Away Special) cylinders. All I have seen is for a size is 5 and 2.5 Cu FT.

This is STS 7. Also I was wrong about the tops. They maybe reflective. But the blue ones are solar panels NOT the earth reflection as I thought earlier.

I finally found the sizes of the GAS containers:

I am redoing them.
Different op[s though. Some are the white/silver, blue solar, and just metallic (brass/gold/grey?)

Working on the OMS vector thing also.

One thing people asked about was the speed brake and making it adjust to the speed. I tried that and it was bad.

I added OMS to the sts 1 launch.
8Z7Ozzp.jpg

At about 10 minutes from launch OMS1 burn to an orbit of 130/57 nm or 240.76/105.564
Weird so I set the orbit for that and it would not take it.
ExBTT1u.jpg

but it take 1055 2407
But the burn took place at 55 minutes

vector for thrust should be at the center of gravity.

Not sure I may just stick to meshes

new SPA1

On the logo of the SPA01. The German flag seems to be offset and something else is there. But I can't tell what it is?

Been looking at STS41b
this was the one We did:

this is the newer version

The big difference is how the things get attached to the shuttle.

Something that maybe nice. Would be a working ADI ball.

In the earlier shuttle an ADI was there. in the latter shuttle it is a MFD

I don't know if it is even possible to made it a MFD and just project an ADI on there?

Differences.

I lighten the cockpit. The warning system is just a texture. In the old version it had sorts of warning light. The new one has no warnings. The old the SPi was a texture in the new one it works. Also in the new the gear indicators work,

These are wonderful updates to the project - many thanks! Will you be releasing them anytime soon - would love to try all the improvements. Interested in the TDRS changes you made.

@moonheart Thanks. I can put together a scenario package of the TDRS missions and sts 1-9. Do you want launches in HD and regular. Right now I have orbits scenarios.

Somehow STS-1...9 are not in that zip. As far as I can see...
