Looks like another terror-related event in London. Still on-going.

A man has been shot dead by police in south London after he attacked people on a busy high street.
The man was under active police surveillance at the time of the attack, which police believe to be an Islamist-related terrorist incident.
He had a hoax device strapped to his body, police said. Three people were injured, with one person in a life-threatening condition.
Gunshots were heard on Streatham High Road just after 14:00 GMT on Sunday.
Reports suggest a man entered a shop and started stabbing people. It appears he then left the shop and stabbed a woman.

A man shot dead by police after he stabbed people in south London had been released from prison in January.
Sudesh Amman, 20, was released around a week ago after serving half of his sentence of three years and four months for terror offences.

Ongoing situation here about releasing people early when convicted of terrorism offences. Second time recently people have been killed or injured.
The rehabilitation program doesn't seem to work. Would it ever?

No idea,I just found this statistic about the UK.:

Does not look much different compared to Germany with 30-40%.

For comparison, in Germany, the number is counted a bit different, with 35% committing a new crime in the first three years after leaving prison, 44% committing a new crime in the first six years and 48% in nine years after leaving prison. For juvenile offenders, its even up to 64%.

There is also more specific data around for special crimes, like robbery and theft having the biggest reoffending rates.

Also we have more problems with a different kind of terrorism in the past years... the last big terror attack failed because of a solid door, when a Nazi tried to kill jews and in frustration started to kill the next best people he was able to get....
