Folks,

Does anyone know any formula about sun-sync planetocentric polar coordinates? That (0,0) coordinate always face sun when planet is orbiting around sun so that place a camera on fixed sun-sync polar coordinate to see planet across stars (in background).

I had seen that animation demo in early NASA's Planet Quest website for exoplanet searching. The animation demo showed that jupiter-like planet with orbiting moons across stars (in background). That is good for education.

I googled but ended up many sources about sun-sync orbits instead. I can't find any source so far. That's why I want to place camera (viewport) like in L1 area.

Thanks
