Anybody else in this forum is a fan of the Terran Trade Authority books? I'm talking about the original ones from the late 1970s, not the recent remake as a role-playing game.

I used to have Steward Cowley's Spacecraft: 2000-2100 AD book when I was growing up, but I think I lent it to a friend and haven't seen it in years. I spent hours looking at the artwork in that book and reading the description of the Proximan War. I miss it so much. I think I'll have to try to contact my old friend and get my book back!

I recall several ships in that book which I would love to make into add-ons, mainly the CAM-117 Gunship and the K-9 Goblin.

This is only pic of the CAM-117 I could find online:

I remember finding the "2000-2100 AD" book in a library when I was younger. I too was fascinated by the paintings and ship designs. One aspect I thought was pretty sensible (for future tech) was that some of the ships didn't have windows. Cameras, video monitors, and targeting and navigation computers would make up for it.

A couple years ago I was in a RPG game shop in Chicago. Among all the books and tabletop models, I found an updated copy of the same book. All the information appeared to be the same, except all the ship images were redone with computer graphics.

I still like the look of the "old school" sci-fi paintings though.

Excellent new video of the TTA spaceships:
