General Question Texutring detail?

I'm hoping that someone out there can help me with finding a tutorial for detailed Tmaps for orbiter using Anim8tor and UV mapper. Specifically I need to know how to get more detailed Tmaps. I would like to make very fine details in my textures. Thanks!
