Just downloaded Orbiter & the various recommended add-ons from the main download links on the Orbiter homepage. I must say, I'm impressed, but was wondering if there's an ultra-high resolution Earth model. Even with the hi-rez earth model available for download at the homepage, I notice the cloud cover is a bit blocky & there's seams sometimes. I have an ATI Radeon x1950 with 256MB VRAM so want to take advantage of any extra texture memory any Orbiter add-ons use. I have my resolution set at 1280X1024 32-bit.

also, wanted to ask if there's any special antialiasing fiddling I can do. Great ship models & such, but I hate the jaggies. I tried forcing it with ATI catalyst CP but don't notice a difference. Is there a way to smooth out the jaggies with Orbiter?

Thanks.

C.

Orbiter uses DX7 where there is no AA options. You catalyst control centre should be able to override this though, so no idea why it doesn't. nVidia control panel works fine with it

The beta version of orbiter can also have much higher resolution textures. I'm not sure where the beta is, but someone will probably chirp in with the location.
