Demonstration of a launch with the simulated Launch Vehicle Digital Computer (LVDC++) and a Mode III abort at 00:11:00 GET.

A Mode III launch abort is a very unlikely abort late in the launch. A critical systems failure requires an immediate abort and landing. To prevent a land landing in Africa, the CSM in most cases has to do a retrograde SPS burn targeting a water landing just south of the Canary Islands.

I also did some RTLS in the past. The video is in spanish, but the maneuver is easy to see.

Waiting for the day that I can try this on SSU, it will be awesome!

Does anyone have a link to somewhere how to record this kind of films in Orbiter? Without to much issues in 24fps-30fps framerate?

Video of our last mission, featuring SSU2.0 and very soon we´ll make a mission with 3.0, hopefully on the new Orbiter.

A look at the future of NASSP. This video shows the Lunar Orbit Insertion maneuver with Apollo 10. Some notable things:

-Fully configured Thrust Vector Control Digital Autopilot (TVC DAP). In the past maneuvers with the LM attached couldn't be done by the Virtual AGC, because the TVC pad loads (gains, filter coefficients etc.) were incorrect. Now there are experimental Apollo 9 and 10 scenarios where it is possibe to use the TVC DAP for docked maneuvers.
-Apollo 10 uses Colossus 2A (also called Comanche 055), the AGC version used for the Apollo 11 CM. Because not everything has been tested in that version, Apollo 11 currently still uses the old version (Colossus 1A, flown on Apollo 9). Working on Apollo 9 and beyond is only preliminary work for future versions of NASSP, the next actual release will be Apollo 7 and 8 only.

My favourite thing is that you can see the thrust vectoring of the exhaust in the outside view and also on the Gimbal Position Indicator (GPI) on the bottom left of the panel.

Hey indy91,
great improvements there!
But out of curiosity: What (simulated) parameters cause (or influence) the gimaling of the SPS?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you mean how the gimbaling is implemented in NASSP or do you ask how the TVC of the AGC works?
