Hey Everyone,

For some reason, I've got it in my head to build a life-sized interior of the Apollo Lunar Module.

I found a great scan of all of the switches and displays of the LM, but what I don't know is how big the panels are.

http://heroicrelics.org/info/lm/lm-ctrl-panel.html

I have found that the forward part of the LM is a cylinder that is 92 inches in diameter, and 42 inches deep. (Although I presume this is the exterior.) I also know that the floor of the LM measures approximately 36 inches deep by 55 inches wide.

One big clue that I've found is that the FDAIs (Flight Director Attitude Indicator) units measured 5.75 inches square.

But I'd appreciate any information any of you might have.

Cheers,

-Tc

This provides several dimensions. I don't know if it is enough for your purpose.

Please keep us informed of your progress!

I have that PDF, thanks - It's were I found the numbers I posted.

There's two detailed sets of blueprints over at Realspacemodels.com. I guess if I'm serious I'll have to break down and get them...

In the mean time, I'll put the info I do have into a 3d model and see where that gets me.
