It seems to work, but... the OrbiterSound's commands that can be included in the scenario as well as the explanatory texts that can be displayed on the screen (feature of version 5.0 then 5.1) do not work, so OrbiterSound works as with version 4.0.
The bridge is just for vessels using the OS API, not for all the features that OS supports beyond that.

Interested into get back into orbiter after a few years away. Looking forward to trying this out! I gave up with 2016 as it was too hard to get my joysticks working and multimonitor didn't work either. I also wanted to get an external flight planner based in Mat;ab working but it never did.

My mouse scroll wheel stops working sometimes with OpenOrbiter2024 D3D9 Graphics Client (I haven't noticed it with default D3D7 graphics).

Hi
I think I found something, but can you check and tell me if it also works for you ? :hailprobe:

It is the issue of the mouse wheel that becomes inactive when you change vessel focus...

Here's what I did :

In the OpenOrbiter Server Launchpad go to the Tab "option" => "User interface"

and then in the "Mouse focus behaviour" zone set to "focus follows mouse"

Since then, it seems that I no longer have this bug...

my Logitech extreme 3D pro joystick works just fine with 2024 version as same as it was with 2016 v

For me too. I just tried it. The same joystick.

Same for me.... no idea...
Plug joystick into another slot. If using a logitech joystick download the latest version of logitech profiler (and keep it open as you run Orbiter. I use the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Had some problems with settings until I set throttle to Slider 0 and tested with a ship already in space. Now it works fine.

Hi, Orbiter 2024 keeps crashing when I tab out of the game. Does this happen to anyone else?
Has this been happening from the fresh installation or after you installed any add-ons?

Should be a way to get this working... Punching into orbit with a keyboard just isn't the same... May as well be sitting in a Crew Wagon playing with the monitors... ^^^

DrawOrbit is mentioned in Orbiter's manual, but there is no info how to activate it (I have checked module, of course).

Hello all,
I landed in Antelope, but I don't have much detail for the runway, I wonder if this is normal ?

I installed Orbiter2024 and I didn't add any Addons, nor any high definition textures for the Earth.
I thought the Antelope region integrated in Orbiter2024 would be in high definition.
Do you have any idea to have a lot of detail?

I thought the Antelope region integrated in Orbiter2024 would be in high definition.
I did mention before the release that those scenarios shouldn't be in the release, as it did not contain the Antelope addon...

Anyway, you need to go to http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/mirrors/orbiter_radio/tex_mirror.html scroll down to Earth and download the antelope_scn.zip file, and unzip* it into your Orbiter instalation. That page also has high-res texture and elevation for several Solar System bodies.

*) I think you need to have 7zip for this file, which is free to use.
