When you hit 10,000 hours in orbiter no seriously i keep track of my flight hours.
You spend two hours fiddling with an excel spreadsheet so you can work out your Soyuz landing time a month ahead and planning an orbit adjust burn so you can land in daylight.

When following an 'object' you turn on the dock MFD to visual mode and project data to the HUD so you can monitor said 'object's' vector and relative velocity.
