Problem New member can't access addons

Hi, I registered a few days ago. I have tried to download add ons, but I get an OOps! message. It seems I have to have some kind of approval before I can access the addons. How do I get the approval? Thanks , Trev

You should already be able to access them. Which one in particular are you trying to access?

I think you need to post on the Forum once in order to access addons. So the issue should be sorted now

I'm trying to download Spacecraft3. Tried it a minute ago and got same message as before, i.e. I need to make an approved post. I have made posts in Meet and Greet and, obviously, here. What exactly is an "approved post"?

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I wanted to try the V2. Managed to download it, but it throws an error saying something like it can't access Spacecraft3. I was assuming SC3 was missing, but maybe what you've said about it not working in 2024 is more likely. All the same, strange that I can't download from this site.

What I'm after is a nice simple vertical rocket. I'm trying to write a Lua script to do a launch.

To build a rocket, I recommend "Multistage"

• Multistage2015 works very well with Orbiter 2016
• A version recompiled by Matias (included in my Ariane 6 add-on) works well in Orbiter 2024 (except for the boosters, which cause problems).

A Multistage2026 version is currently being developed by Matias.

And VesselBuilder works very well, as gattispilot said.

Of course, you can use Lua. Powerful, but more complicated....

Hi,
you should be able to access any Add-ons in the "Public" section, but you need a Moderator to approve your post to access the "Orbinauts Only" section.

The two Add-ons you mention were hosted externally (I think) and have disappeared, but as others have mentioned you can probably get them from "Pappy's Hangar".

I did try Multistage but got same unable to download problem. I'll take a look at VesselBuilder. Thanks!

Recommend downloading some of @jacquesmomo's addons, they are very comprehensive and have main dependencies provided (e.g. Vesselbuilder/multistage/spacecraft3 etc...).
