  • Actually I just saw you looking at the thread and went there. I downloaded it but my sim computer is acting wonky, so I might just try on my laptop. That is, right after I post some more images of the XR2 Girl right now.
Oh, I think it was this thread. Posting corresponds with his last activity, and it's now locked.
But it probably was just a case of political outrage, so I hope he'll be back soon.
I'm not sure, but it's not really my business, is it? :p

I'm sure he'll be back soon enough anyway. As you said, he's a good guy, so it can't be permanent.
    WhoaWHOAWHOA, whaaat!?
    Why is T.Neo Banned?!
He seemed like a good guy! And he was an addon dev!
I don't think I'd do that. I like Touhou, but everyone but ~3 people here does not, and I don't want to go about advertising something no one likes. I think enough people are annoyed with us as it is.
Lets do it! I want to do it actually, just for the heck of it.

And you could put a little thing in your sig, next to the OFMM badge. The flag, or Momizi (Inubasiri). :)
Argh, don't remind me. Is there some way to advertise social groups or what?

Also, a social group isn't a bad idea. Want to make one?
If you made a "Touhou Fans" social group, I bet it would get more members than "Canadian Orbinauts."

That beauty is the flamberge from the game "infinity-the quest for earth", perhaps the most epic sci-fi vessel I've ever seen. Tragically the ship got completely redesigned and now looks almost NOTHING like it originally did :( Fortunately for me, one of the people who was originally working on the redesign modded the original ship into orbiter and I managed to get my grubby little hands on a copy :) (This is in fact how I got introduced to orbiter) Sadly, there are no textures on the model (it is just grey:( ) and Im told that it is just too big to work with. I truly hope that someday someone with equally epic modelling skills will come along and help me with it.

If you are interested, I can give you a copy of it. I originally promised that I would not do so, but that was about 2 years ago and the vessel has been completely redesigned since then, so to heck with it.
Well then, call me Ishmael. I'm not that good at interplanetary stuff (or much else of anything) but I guess I'll join in now and hopefully get better in time. My main specialty right now is spewing ideas...
Anyone can help with OFMM! It looks like there will have to be tonnes of missions, to build the thing, get it over to Mars and essentially deconstruct it and reassemble it on the surface...We'll need all the pilots we can get!
LOL congratulations! I hope you're taking that nap soon!
Hayabusa was not a failure of a mission but I couldn't help likening it to Apollo 13. That comic was what made it one of my top favourites.
And I don't think I can really help you, but good luck with OFMM! :hail::probe:
    Fast response.

    I'm a dishwasher!

Yeah, Hayabusa was a very exciting mission. And it wasn't that much of a failure. It could have been far worse. I mean, at least it made it back.
"Various unglorious tasks?" Come on, what is it?! Are you gonna be a pro sci-fi writer? Find a publisher? (congrats on whatever job you got!)
Also, I see Hayabusa is on your list now. ;)
It was an epic story, probably JAXA's most successful failure.
Oh, I have x64 Vista. The trick is to set your Windows locale to Japan- Vista has some trouble with Japanese-named files. The game and patch work fine for me after that, even in Program Files (x86). However, that might be slightly bothersome if you're not ever planning to use Japanese. The GUI is almost the same, but some programs will try to install in Japanese, and all backslashes in file paths will become ¥. There are locale switchers that switch locale for running one program, but I don't know about those.

I'm the opposite from that, though. I'm crap at the older Windows games (save PCB and PoFV), and I could never handle Sakuya. Much better with Sanae. IMO The gameplay was really smoothed out in MoF, I liked it over IN. And I liked MoF over SA, but I like UFO even more. Besides, didn't you BEAT Suwako and Koishi? That's way better than me.
