Hi all. I've been away a long time. I want to play around with AMSO again and I cant remember how to hide the "GET" display. I have searched for a couple of days with no luck.
Thanks!
First off you must be new to this forum. Soooo :welcome:
Rob its not hard but it will be very time consuming. Get used to reading,,, alot. Give it a year. Then you will start having so much fun. Untill then you will go through some frustrating times. Like I said read the manuels. Feel free to...
Well my issue is, at the real White Sands that particular runway is 5/23. The way I have it in Orbiter, Auto FCS shows runways 6/24. It works perfectly but I was trying to make it realistic. I can change the runway settings in the White Sands .cfg so that Auto FCS shows 5/23 but then the Shuttle...
I have finally adjusted my White Sands.cfg and Earth.cfg files so that Auto FCS works with White Sands. My problem is that the runway is Rwy 05, but I had to land the shuttle in a 60 degree direction so that it will land centerline. I know how to reposition the base by longitude and latitude but...
Start the trip at a very high Jupiter orbit, that helps due to Jupiters high gravitational influence. Make sure you are setting the Ref to Europa when using Planet Approach and Orbit Insert. I made that mistake in the past.
I always attempt Planet Approach burn at 1.5X the planets SOI. I also ck and burn several times during approach. I hear its ok up to 2x the planets SOI.
Cool, thank you for pointing out the question I was suppose to ask. I am just now attempting to learn this MFD. Also if you reverted back to version 1.4.2 then why is your link showing 1.4.4. ? Im confused.
Noooo, Ive been trying to learn Launch MFD. It isnt coming easy. Then you post this. Now I dont know if Im wasting my time. Does it work ok with 2010 P1, or is that the question at hand?
Never mind. I found the runway info I needed. It is the NOR.cfg file. I would have never associated NOR with White Sands.
Thanks for reading this anyway.
