  • Gattispilot and I are having fun with this. We're still developing some things from the show for release in the future. Unfortunately the lack of collision detection in Orbiter determined how we'd have to treat landing on a pad that was not the planetary body's surface. As far as Orbiter is concerned attachment is technically different from docking (you'll have to ask Gattispilot about the specifics of this). We're not planning any changes to the attachment method. Keep an eye on OH and the forum for our additions.

    Thanks,
    Ben
Hey! Thanks for the 1999 stuff. Is there a way to make the red landing pad into a dock...? I amsure you've went round and round over it...how to make a dock and have eagles not fall through...just like to be able to not switch to Main Mission for landing and take-off...
Sorry I haven't responded sooner; I had a major hard drive failure two days ago (storage only but I lost over 500 Gb, some of it irreplacible!) and I've been busy restoring from that fiasco. Anyway, I need to update the manual for the fleet to explain the changes to the attachment points and once I get that done I'll package up the new dll and send it along with the new manual along to your Email address. Thanks for your patience...

I'm updating the Shuttle Fleet and ISS Fleet to newer versions. ISS includes a new model (ISS15A) which is the next stage in assembly after STS-119, and the shuttle fleet includes some new attachment points so that the add-on from Donamy (MPMs and OBSS) will work without modification to any configuration files and there will be 3 seperate attachment points that the RMS can grapple and reattach to (the RMS dialog box has 3 payload buttons). Would you be interested in beta testing the new items prior to their general release? You have been a good supporter of the fleets in the past and that is why I've selected your name. If you are interested, please respond to this PM with an Email address that I can send the necessary packages to.
    Thanks and happy holidays...
    Dave
