    Stratolaunch v1.0 2014-09-07

The biggest aircraft ever, for launching mid-size payloads to LEO, GTO, or GEO. Take off from KSC, or Mojave, and air-drop a launch to orbit!   Velcro Rockets is required. Antares/Cygnus is necessary to launch the Cygnus payload to ISS. Mojave Spaceport Resources is necessary to fly out of...

    Question Blue Streak F2 gone?

Notebook, I quite liked them, and had hoped to make your Woomera location the base for my MUSTARD add-on. But I can't do that if it's not on OH, of course. :(

    Galaxy Quest 1.0 2014-06-15

Includes the NSEA Protector, the interstellar cruiser from the movie Galaxy Quest, and its shuttlecraft (termed a “surface pod”).  Performance is science-fictiony, unrealistically, fun. The add-on is built in the manner of Star Trek add-ons like those of ChristopherT, and should be...

Hardware What are your Computer Specs?

Well, I'm farsighted, so for monitor-reading I just put on a set of 1.5 diopter, store-bought reading glasses. Good compromise between close-up vision and mesopic (to 1m or so) vision. Oh, is that not what you meant? ;)

Have I been going about my space program all wrong for all this time?

Lost credibility? Or just has a longer memory than you? The space station was indeed promised at $8 billion, and completion in 1992, throughout the 1980's and 1990-1. Example: http://www.nytimes.com/1992/10/27/science/space-station-promised-for-92-is-still-mostly-on-drawing-board.html

Hi Beep, the M2 add-on I haven't updated yet because it really needs a working TetherMFD.

General Question Why is Luna called "Moon" in-Game?

Y'know, if you feel strongly about this, it would be very very simple to edit your Sol.cfg and/or Moon.cfg to use the name of your choice. Heck, name it after yourself....

OHM Air to Air Refuel Script MFD v0.67

Oh yes. Generic MFD size is 6. I'm not sure about your question, but my first thought is that making it TOO simple cuts down on the flexibility. I would prefer the MFD self-populate with the first possible answer, though, rather than requiring me to press EACH button in turn.

OHM Air to Air Refuel Script MFD v0.67

The 4:3 (which was only sorta readable) was a 1440x1080 window. The original 16:9 window was 1920x1080. Hmm. Yes, I would recommend being more specific in the introductory scenario. But yes, I would also recommend picking out 4 attachment types (for boom and receptacle, probe and drogue)...

OHM Air to Air Refuel Script MFD v0.67

Fantastic! This is desperately needed! A few glitches: 1. MFD text is run-on and hard to read. It looks like lower lines of the MFD aren't given enough spacing down the MFD, so the overrun text that's higher up. I use a laptop with a 16:9 screen; problem is less (but still present) when...

    Project Starchaser Shuttle

As long as you're adapting an old Russian design anyway, I note with interest that the Energia-M in the basic Velcro rockets package is a 40-ton booster, and looks like it would package very nicely with your shuttle.

Limiting factors on Saturn IB launch weight.

Well, it looks like the AAPO CSM is just hung onto the side of the Velcro Saturn with the line ATTACHED 0:0,S-IVb You need to use one of Velcro's methods of attachment; just using the native Orbiter line doesn't let Velcro know it's there.

Limiting factors on Saturn IB launch weight.

It might be. Velcro spends the first Orbiter cycle gluing attachments together, and the second tallying up the masses. If the SLA's mass isn't correct by the 2nd timecycle, it's not going to be counted properly. Hmm. You could add a dummy payload to ballast the S-IV to the right mass...

Limiting factors on Saturn IB launch weight.

That sounds like the Velcro Saturn isn't carrying the weight of the Apollo at ALL for some reason. It works properly for NASSP and AMSO Apollos; you have to offload fuel just to get the thing in orbit at all; you're certainly not doing it with 3 km/s in the tanks. Could you share your...

    Project Pluto level 8

Don't throw away your rejects, though. That looks like a FANTASTIC Mercury-analog for someone who's making a fictional star system. Nobody knows, of course, what Pluto would look like. But yes, a good guess would be to start with Triton. Texture of a cantaloupe, color of an ice sculpture.

Idea Anyone interested in changing the docking angle of Skylab's

If that's too much bother, then don't bother. Orbiter doesn't force rotational alignment for docking, so just accept the red-instead-of-white roll pointer and push it on in there. Your DeltaGlider (or whatever) will magically be rotated 45 degrees at docking, no huhu.

My "Velcro EELV's" project contains Atlases, even two-engine ones. Travmind's mesh is not as detailed as the Dream Chaser you'd be putting atop it, alas.
