Dan, your work is incredible. Not to slight Dr. Schweiger, but the work that you have done with orbiter sound and the DG-II (and of course all of the more recent ships, utility addons, and modules) have certainly been as important to the popularity of orbiter as the quality of the sim itself...

Hardly seems worth it to make it possible to customize the gender of the crew. Certainly not "discrimination" that this particular crew is made up that way.

I don't see how this could possibly be modeled in the current version of orbiter (it is certainly not "fairly trivial"), and even an update to orbiter would be very difficult. The only option I see is to model it as a percentage chance of collision, which I don't think would be terribly...

Who's to say radius isn't derived by halving the value of the diameter? It is all arbitrary, although it is indeed common to use 2 pi.

You are an excellent artist (far better than I'll even be anyway :) ) but frankly this thread is starting to get a bit disturbing. Several of the comments in this thread are not at the level I've come to expect from orbiter-forum. In short, this lacks class.

Yep, that is it! Thanks! On a side note, I wonder if the author could be asked about it being uploaded to orbit-hangar. It is a very useful MFD, although it does have one rather annoying bug (crossing out of the sphere of influence of a a planet at high time acceleration will crash orbiter).

If I remember correctly, Emap MFD was on avsim. I was actually just going to (re)download it, and then this... Does anyone have it? I may have it laying around somewhere if not.

The cost of fuel alone would be in the millions. Even for SpaceX, the most advanced commercial space company I am aware of, (assuming that the Falcon 9 works) it would still cost 120 million just to slam a big hunk of metal in to the moon. On top of that you need a lander, life support systems...

It depends how you define fastest. At the distance the Voyager probes are New Horizons will be slower. Not to mention things like relative to earth, relative to the sun, etc...

At the moment only the russian version has been released. Due to some issues (it was cracked very quickly) they are delaying the international release until they can resolve that issue.
