News AMSO development has restarted

Dear Orbinauts,

First, please accept our sincere best wishes for the New Year to come !!!

Secondly, we are please to announce that:

AMSO development has restarted !!!


It will consist EXCLUSIVELY for now, TO BRING TO LIFE BOTH APOLLO & LEM VIRTUAL 3D COCKPITS, progressively, step by step, with the publication of a new AMSO version at each step, so that you can be associated to the evolution of this project.

We have already started with a "piece of choice" the full modelization & simulation in 3d of the famous FDAI instrument.

Unfortunately, we are already stopped abruptly in our initial enthusiasm, because we encounter major problems, with the animation of the "8 Ball", when the visual aspect of the Apollo vessel is modified (like during staging).

Please cross your fingers with us that we will find soon what's going wrong here.

I'm excited about this! I love flipping switches and having a realistic cockpit to use. Having the "frapping 8-ball" will be a nice touch.
