Hi Cripion101,

welcome to the forum!
Could you please be more specific about your setup?
a) Do you use AMSO or NASSP?
b) What exact version of AMSO or NASSP are you using?
c) Do you like to separate the SIV-B from the SII stage, or do you want to separate the SIV-B from the LM/CSM combination?

Hi,

I am pretty sure that you have to switch some switches (pyros enable e.g.)
but you should read this:
http://nassp.sourceforge.net/wiki/Quickstart_to_the_Moon#Transposition_and_Docking
..and be able to do the manouver.
I've just looked over the page and could not find the exact sequence...hmmm.
Another source might be the checklists in the "Doc\Project Apollo - NASSP\Checklists\" folder (note, that the XLS-Documents have multiple "pages")
The document "CSM Default Checklists.xls" contains a Tab/Page called "CSM-LV-Separation".
As far as I remember, working that checklist did the job.

YESS! Got it. After playing around a bit i worked out that I needed to hit the ARM BAT-A etc buttons. Thank you so much for your help.
You're welcome!
Out of curiosity, did the checklists work as a better reference?

By the way, do you use a Quickstart Mode or a Virtual AGC Mode scenario?

Cheers

Sometimes I use virtual AGC but there never really seems to be a difference.

 Well, there is this Guidance Computer thingy... ;)
http://nassp.sf.net/wiki/First_Steps

But I asked because in Quickstart Mode if you press "J" with the S-IVB on orbit, the CSM-LV-Separation checklist of Project Apollo Checklist MFD is executed automatically, i.e. the CSM should separate from the S-IVB without any other action necessary. In Virtual AGC mode the "J" key does nothing.

Also the action of pressing J may have an effect- I just never waited for anything to happen.

In Quickstart Mode separation should occur almost instantaneously after pressing J, at least in default vessel configuration. But I'd need the scenario you use to check that...
