Please note, that this addon is only to give you notification that construction work is in progress on a surface base and the download, when installed will place a simple claim marker upon the moons surface for you to view.

You have thirty days of the notice date to register an objection to the bases location at Brighton Beach. If you are building or plan to build in or around the area which has been selected for our build, please let us know as we would like to save any conflict of scenery.

This discription is subject to change.

Thankyou.

(Saves having a development tread as well as an addon thread... 2 in 1)

This addon is a work in progess and is 50% complete on both the meshes and textures. I will post screen shots when the base is further developed, which is on hold at present. Work on the base will be continued after the XR Facility has been updated.

Thankyou

No oblection has been lodged at Brigton Beach offices so I now intend to use the space marked. :)

Base Name :
Wulfruna

Base Facilitates:
Tourism, Visitor, Logistics, resupply and maintenance.

Base Discription:
Wulfruna base is a self contained commercial lunar surface base that will allow visitors to move freely within domed areas, rooms and linked corridors without the use of environmental suits. Primarily directed at those who work long term contracts either on the lunar surface and near lunar orbit and want to feel, experience and view environments found on Earth. Wulfruna base also accomodates vistors awaiting launch windows to the outer planets when waiting on orbiting stations isn't viable. Wulfruna base will be able to accomodate vessels upto the size of the XR2 comfortably within an enclosed hanger whilst offering adaquate landing space and user utilities for vessels as large as the XR5 on an external landing pad.

Base release and completion date : T.B.A

This work in progress and the pictures shown indicate the current level
cunstruction state to date. I haven't shown every aspect of the build, but
the major areas should give you a clear vision of what to expect on release.
The base is on hold while I am now comfortable with its progress and continue with the XR Facility update work which was delayed due to my little distraction with this project. I will continue with this when I have finished the facility update.

There are a mix of pictures taken both in Orbiters environment and Wings3D.

I have yet to decide on how to handle the light and level of textures, but I think I can handle the release so those with low end machines can download and use the base.
Primary download... This would be the basic base and low end textures. With folders containing the higher textures included, so the user can drag and drop the high end textures into the necessary folder and overwrite basic textures.
The second download would be the base candy. I won't say what kind of candy, but hopefully it would be the sweet stuff and not the bitter lemon kind. This would also include any animations and the utilites which would add function to the base itself. Hopefully Russ will work his magic on the animations and utils when I have built them.

I have alot remaining to do for this base, but the primary download shouldn't be to far away.

Thankyou. :tiphat:

Is it to late to register a complaint that your base looks better than mine !!!!!!

( what I really mean is Looking Good Gents, Looking Good..)

Made some tiles

Have taken your file and added it to the base so you can have a look

Very nice Paddy, and very well placed too. I can imagine what Wulfruna will look like a little better now, with such tiles.

You can definatly do my tiles looking at that.

I certainly look forward to seeing your new work. :)
