One problem with the JEM RMS is you can't use the "inside view" F1 or it will crash.

Click to expand... My guess is its DLL was never modified to work with Orbiter 2016. For simulation purposes a second (simpler) robotic arm just doesn't seem to bring enough "extra value" to justify the extra work.
