Yes, I do need those structures, but I also need the Praxis mesh, since the one I'm currently using isn't very accurate to the source material. In any case, doing a mesh for a celestial body shouldn't be any different than doing one for any other object - just make it the requested size, and that should be it.Yes not able to convert the Moon. Having never made a moon. But sure if it is just a big sphere and one textures?
But I thought you want the structures?
You're using the 3D model from Celestia for Praxis, right? Not sure about it. I can a sphere x size. And apply texture. I am able to get the textures.
The celestria model would not convert. But if it is just a big sphere? how big? You're using the 3D model from Celestia for Praxis, right?
(Sorry, I'm just a little confused, that's all.)
Yes, that's exactly it.mAYBE THIS?
Yeah, we could possibly include the debris field as well.Do you want the smaller parts?
do your about the size and how to add into orbiter?
Looking good so far! Hopefully you can resolve the scaling issues. We get this. The size is 55 meters. I tried scaling and had issues.
The mesh looks really good, but the size is way off. It needs to be increased by a factor of 1,000. (As stated previously, Praxis has a radius of 1,800 kilometers, making it about the same size as Io.)Try this: I am not sure on the size,....
Hopefully you can get the problem solved soon. At this point, all we really need to do is resize the Praxis mesh, and then we can get back to working on those buildings.I am at a lost. I tried using Blender and import the mesh but got this:
