General Question Changing Reference for small body.

I switch my Hud reference to Dione (CNTL-R) as its just big enough to orbit but not big enough to switch over the HUD by itself but how do I change the Autopilot so that it holds Dione Prograde etc? I seems to still be holding Prograde etc to Saturn.


Is this normal?

As near as I've been able to determine, the AP auto-references the major gravitational influence and can't be changed manually. Orientating reference to Dione would be pointless, since Saturn will affect your orbit much more than Dione will and any burns made won't affect a Dione "orbit" in the normal fashion. In fact, you can't truly orbit Dione, only set up a psuedo orbit where perturbations of your Saturn orbit give the illusion of orbiting Dione.
