So I just noticed that Wideawake International has had over 10,000 downloads, and that has inspired this post.

There was a post many moons ago from an addon user thanking addon developers for all their hard work.

Well this thread is the reverse.

This is a thank you to all the users and supporters of Wideawake International, and of all Orbiter addons in general. Although I dev because I enjoy it and it is a hobby, it is very gratifying to see something I have spent so much time on being used and enjoyed by so many people. It makes it all the more worthwhile. I raise a glass to you all.

p.s. Wideawake International: Ascension Ultra has had its dev reinvigorated, so there will be a dev thread started shortly. In the mean time my blog has a few bits and bobs of info.

Congratulations on the 10,000 downloads! Wideawake is still my favourite base to use and I can't wait to get my hands on Widewake Ultra, the images on your blog look pretty interesting :thumbup:

I downloaded Wideawake more as a curiosity at first thinking it could never replace KSC - Oh boy was I wrong. Wideawake very soon became the home of ISA and after a few additions to the island I can't think of any other place that would benefit my VSA better!
