Okay, I've downloaded this mod not so long ago and I loved it, but I am still a newbie, and recently I've been having a problem, here is the thing.
I wanted to fly the full Apollo 13 mission but when I am doing the launch checklist from the Project Apollo Checklist MFD, at around T- 2 hours my crew dies!! And it's the same thing in quickstart mode when the PC does the launch checklist and I don't know what to do! Help me!! :(

(sorry for bad english and if it is a newbie question)

Why start with Apollo 13 wich BTW is not fully implemented yet?

I recommend you starting with Apollo 7 or Apollo 8 wich are complete and doable.

Also, are you running NASSP in vAGC or in Quickstart mode? I assume vAGC, because of the described "Problem".

You are not following the checklist in the required time (you NEED to complete the Backup crew prelaunch before crew ingress @ T-2h40mins), or you are not following the Word Checklists (See Docs folder)

The crew is dying because your cabin is filling with CO2, because you didn´t activate the Suit Compressors and other ECS systems, before crew ingress at T-2h:40m.

Oops... Bad day for EECOM...

Hmm that makes sense, but do i put them in AC1 or AC2, or it doesn't make any difference

Yes it does, just follow the checklist.

But you also have to perform the previous steps, from the backup crew prelaunch. You start the backup crew prelaunch checklist at T-4 hours, and it has to be completed before T-2:40:00, you have 1 hour and 20 mins to make those procedures (Yes, they are huge, but practise and you´ll be able [I am]). The CSM´s cabin layout is not a A-320 or 737 and yet it is more complicated than the Shuttle.

Follow the Word checklists in Doc\Project Apollo - NASSP\Word Checklists\

Bear in mind that NASSP simulates the most realistic CSM available, certainly in Orbiter, but also most likely anywhere currently available. This is free, community developed and open source software that allows you to follow the original NASA checklists from the simulated missions, and by and large most everything works, for Apollo 7.

If you are looking for this level of complexity, pray continue. If you want something little more simplistic, but still realistic, try AMSO, which I believe contains an officially supported Apollo 13 scenario. You can also perform the entire Apollo 11 mission, with LM landing and all, which is as far as I know still broken in NASSP7 (the LM was in a bad way last time I tried to use it).

Wow that really helped me out!! Thank you so much!! :)

Has the Apollo 8 mission already been fully implemented?

You can follow the NASA checklists, if available, or you can follow the checklists and flight plans provided with NASSP. I like to use the Checklist MFD, it's really the best way to make sure you haven't missed a switch setting. I have done the prelaunch a lot of times now, once you kind of know where to find each switch and use a little bit of time acceleration (10x) then the prelaunch procedures won't take too long anymore.

Very true, most work is currently done to finish Apollo 7. You can fly the whole mission from launch to splashdown, but the documentation isn't complete or up-to-date. There is also a quite stable Apollo 8 scenario and that mission can be flown from launch to splashdown, too. But it is very much a Beta release and not everything might work 100%. The only other scenario that will work with the most recent version is the Apollo 11 vAGC scenario. It hasn't been maintained for the last few updates, but you can probably play around with it, if you get bored with Apollo 7 and 8. But any Apollo 13 scenario is broken.

You can do most of the LM Activation Checklist, but landing on the moon with the Virtual AGC is still some time away, I'm afraid. Also, the LM currently crashes Orbiter when exiting a scenario. Once Apollo 7 and 8 are done, the work on the LM will resume.

Yeah, I noticed that in the scenarios containing the LM, I can't power him up or do anything with him like activate descent or ascent stage RCS

You can do most of the LM Activation Checklist.

Is there a way to do the LM Activation? I can't seem to find this checklist anywhere in the Docs folder

Hmm, I'll try that

Yess!! It's working, I can power up the LM! Thank you! :D

Anyway, I have another question: Do I need to transfer the crew manually or when I change the ship to the LM the crew transfers automatically

Hmm, I get it, I noticed that the crew transfer is not implemented because everytime I set the number of the crew to 1 or 2 and switch to the LM panel the game crashes.

Thank you for answering :D

Yeah I noticed that myself, but it's just a Project Apollo MFD bug or rather not implemented yet. Just switch to the PAMFD main menu after setting the crew number, the LM basically doesn't have an ECS menu in the MFD yet and crashes Orbiter when it tries to access that page. Well, the LM doesn't even have an ECS PANEL yet.

Yeah, so the only thing that we have to do is wait for a LM update ;)
