One week ago, the Carolina Space Agency and Program started up with 250 million dollars. At the moment, an Antares SR has been purchased as well as a Verrazono with two of the needed rockets for the upcoming Lunar Eclipse. The first launch of James Madison, which is the Verrazono is planned for 11:00AM EST on Sunday. The second launch iis of Washington carrying three people. Mission Cmdr. Devin O'Brien, Flight Engineer Lionel Faie, and Mission Specialist Peter Lovall. The launch would be at 6:00pm Sunday. The launche will be from Aurora Launch Facility, for the time being till a new suitable launch area is found.
After the mission which will end with the recovery of Washington next Thursday, to ensure the people come home for Christmas. James Madison will remain in orbit, as a base for a planned lunar expedition.
CSAP has currently over 1,200 employees. The amount of money at the moment is 130 million dollars. Currently, plans are being looked at to purchase a shuttle from NASA to use to develop satellites.
