Been working on some more scenarios trying to be close to the historic. I've been working on launch playbacks with annotated historical air-to-ground included that places the spacecraft close to the correct orbital insertion numbers per the mission reports.

For the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Grissom and Young GT-3 mission, here's a preview.

GT-3 Post SECO. (Parameters should allow the following orbital maneuvers to work close to the historic.)

Here's the Gemini 11 launch. This works as the first part to the Gemini 11 M=1 rendezvous playback on OHM. Full annotated historical air-to-ground. Only thing is after playback stops post SECO, open the scenario editor and change the Gemini/booster orbital elements slightly. Change the longitude of periapsis (LPe) until the time to apogee on the Orbit MFD is about 2.660. After this tweak you can fly it the same as in the playback all the way to station-keeping over Hawaii. (I made and tested all this with non sphere gravity disabled.) I guess how you fly the ascent, how close to a certain node at SECO you are greatly effects the one orbit rendezvous capability even though the apogee, perigee, and range to target are all close.

I've been working on the Gemini 6A launch scenario/playback trying to refine it further.

Here's an improved Gemini 6-A launch scenario/playback:

I fixed Gemini 7's ground track at 6's launch, so that with non-sphere grav enabled, Gemini 6's ground track at reentry will pass right over the historical splashdown point (since 6 stayed in 7's orbital plane). 6's Post insertion Rinc. is a little lower, now .07 on the historic. Fixed 7's attitude during the pass over the Cape at 6's launch so you can switch vessel focus to 7 to watch 6's ascent. Fixed 7's approx. OAMS quantity. Didn't test the rendezvous maneuvers, but it should be close. Annotated air-to-ground included in this test playback.
