:hello:

Good Morning everyone,

My name's John , I 'm 25 living near Paris and working in aviation.
I played a lot with Orbiter 3/4 years ago with 2006/2010 version , 2010 was in beta if I remember well. I played really a lot , was kind of an expert back in the past .
Anyway a long time ago , newbie again :)
I saw pictures of the new 2015 Beta , and WOOOW , day and night with older version.

SO I am back in business ,testing the new one , learning again basics and taking a lot of pictures of this beauty ,

I guess it's all for now,

See you in Orbiter folks !!!

Hello Gingin,
I didn't test the 2015 Beta but I am looking forward to having real terrain.
Don't bother with being newbie... I came back from 2004 and was happy to see lots of improvements since then.

A hint for "beginners"
Start with Interplanetary MFD (IMFD) does a great job and for my taste the best tool also for beginners to start moving around our planetary system.
With IMFD it is no longer necessary to align any planes. If you don't bother about fuel consumption you can start right away without much knowledge about the burn vector calculation ongoing behind the curtain. ;-)

you can download IMFD on orbiterhangar.

Good luck and happy orbiting,

Bonjour de Toulouse! :tiphat:

Orbiter really is addictive, heh?
The 2015 beta is promising as hell, and small updates arrive from time to time... The D3D9 Client for Orbiter 2015 adds so much to it too, it's beyond imagination.

Happy orbiting around :)
