Hello from the North West coast of England

Hello
my name is Paul & I live on the north west coast of England.

My hobbies include cars, radio controlled models (mainly 1:14 truck and trailers at the moment but have flown helicopters and planes in the past along with running the local indoor 1;10 car racing club for a number of years), model kits of all sorts, pc games and electronics.

I am a fan of sci-fi including star wars, star trek and all of Gerry Andersons work.
I build models of my favourite ships from star wars, star trek and space 1999 ranging from plastic kits, paper models and sometimes even lego.

I saw this forum mentioned on the eagle transporter forum (the eagle is my favourite spaceship of all time) and thought I would join and have a look about as a space flight sim is one of the things I have always wanted to try but never got round to as yet.

I was born a sand grown 'un & I always lived in the area.

Have thought about moving but only need to drive a few miles and there is the bay, a few miles the other way and its the lake district.
Could never find another place to live with such options.
