I started working on a mod for the Incipisphere in the Beta universe in Homestuck: View attachment Incipisphere.zip It's far from complete, and it would be nice if anyone is willing to help.
First off, I'm new to Orbiter, so I don't even know how I'm supposed to be publishing these addons. It's supposed to make a new solar system with its own planets, and have custom scenarios for it. I only have a real texture for one planet (LoWaS). It's possible I accidentally left out something vital. So, tell me if it doesn't work at all.
The Incipisphere doesn't exactly have a sun. As far as I can tell, the planets glow. Is there any way to do that on this? At the very least, can I make Skaia (the planet in the middle where the sun should be) look like it's always day instead of always night?
In the comic, Derse's moon, and presumably Prospit's, is moving above escape velocity. The only reason that it orbits is that it's chained to the planet. Is there any way to force the planet to orbit at the wrong speed like that? Ideally I could just specify its speed in the files, but if not maybe I could give it a much higher mass so the moon orbits faster, and then stick a planet with negative mass in the same place to counter out the gravity?
I need to add some structures, like the chains holding Derse and Prospit to their moons. Does anyone know a good tutorial for this?
