Question How do I create scenery?

Hi, I've just started making my first add on for Orbiter, and I want to know how I can make "hard" meshes/objects for a base. by this I mean if you fly into it, it will knock you away instead of you going straight through....
So I've tried adding a MESH entry in earth.cfg, but nothing appeared. I've also tried the normal way of using the base's cfg file, but I just fly straight through the object.

Unless its a planet, all objects you can 'go through.' I don't think there is vessel collision mod yet in Orbiter.

This is not natively supported.
Check out Orulex and Meshland, they will be able to do what you want.
It will be hard and will most likely not yield optimal results. So far it is the best we have.

How do I use those two? I've just googled around for a tutorial but nothing :(

Search this forum. It is probably the only place to find information about those.
A last resort would be to contact Artlav.

Meshland makes a collision mesh out of the actual mesh, but whenever something besides my landingpoints touch the collision mesh I become a crappy carnival ride.

At least thats the way I would explain the results I see in meshland.

Ok, Meshland / Orulex didn't work at all. Im actually using them to put a ramp on my aircraft Carrier, but the DG just bounced off as if it were a wall :L Finished product is being approved at orbithangar now :)
