Advanced Question How to make the galaxy in orbiter.

I was recently was experimenting with sol's config in order to install pluto. I kept going with some add on systems. The way I did is names each Planet## = System sun. It will give it to you and puts it way far out. But doesn't shine. So in you should be able to copy the sun and rename it say black hole. then tie the sol config to that sun. Copy and rename etc.... till your systems are done. you would only need the appropriate numbers to edit in the object config. I'm not smart enough to do this.:thumbup:

IIRC orbiter uses only 1 lightsource so your star won't shine anyway. AFAIK you can still try it with OGLA

Loru is correct and at extreme distances Orbiter loses accuracy and you'll see ships 'jitter' slightly.
