Flight Question How to takeoff in space shuttle...?

Like the title says. Is it possible to control the craft in game? I tried taking off in Atlantis, but I can never find a way to get it off the launch pad. I know that in the launcher it says to run the commands dialog, but when I go to type the command, the box is grayed out so I can't type anything.

Which Shuttle Atlantis are you writing about? Shuttle Fleet, Space Shuttle Ultra?

In the stock Atlantis you simply throttle up to launch it without writing any commands. Or is it some scripted scenario?

Just get Shuttle Fleet, it has a good launch autopilot.
