Hi, does anybody know how to change the angle of the ILS glideslope in the base config file?

I'm pretty sure it's hardcoded to be the same as the Space Shuttle glideslope.

It is hard coded, if you read the manual and not for the Space shuttle glide slope (3° is too low for that).

To adjust a runway's PAPI and VASI approach angles you need to modify PAPI and VASI lines in the RUNWAYLIGHTS entry that belong to the runway you wish to modify. The first parameter of the line specifies the approach angles, for the SLF it is 20°s for the PAPI and 1.5°s for VASI to facilitate a shuttle orbiter landing.

RUNWAYLIGHTS
END1 -7679 -4 -1041
END2 -11670 -10 -3322
WIDTH 100
COUNT1 40
PAPI 20 3 -2000
VASI 1.5 152 671
END

I thought someone else had cottoned on to the ILS feature in Orbiter that disconcerts me a little, but it turns out (reading the thread) that you mean the glideslope angle and not the localizer deviation sensitivity. Still, the ILS does not really come into its own until you can set some low visibility parameters, so it is pointless to say any more about it. The pilots and flight sim users on the site will know what I am on about....

Just on the off hand, is there a way to set low visibility, by any chance?
