I'm having trouble in Orbiter 2024 with IMFD 5.7 and the Arrow Freighter. I'm doing a simple Target Intercept from Earth orbit to Moon orbit following these steps:
  1. Open up IMFD on right side.
  2. Click MNU > Configuration. Turn off Nodal Regression. Set Mission Timer to MJD.
  3. Click MNU > Course > Target Intercept. Click TGT and enter "Moon". Ensure Ref is "Earth" and PRJ is "Ecliptic".
  4. Click PG > BV.
  5. Click AB to use auto-burn.
The last step fails as when I click it it only burns for a second, even though the burn time is 983s. When I click it again, nothing happens. Any help is greatly appriciated.

Hi,
I don't have the Arrow so can't say whether it might be an engine configuration problem (e.g. does Arrow have a Main_Engine? Is IMFD configured to use it? etc.)

You can always try making the burn manually.
With such a long burn, I'd start at least 1/2 burn duration in advance of IMFD burn start time.
Try changing the IMFD burn mode on the configuration page IMFD <-> P30 (iirc)

Good luck!
Brian

Thanks, I've found that AB acts a bit odd. It burns half way, then waits a few minutes, then burns again. I mistakenly though that it broke while waiting. Is that normal?

That's a new one on me. I've had the AB refuse to start but not a re-start after minutes.
