Laptop Problem

Hi,

i downloaded Oribiter on my laptop, and i can't control any ships because i don't have a NUMPAD or anything...


but i HAD a joystick but my brother needs it so he has it now. so i can't control my ship AT ALL all i can do is go into cockpit mode and useless stuff like that ...

so i would really appreciate if someone would help me out

You should be able to eneble NUMPAD control using the Function (Fn) key, providing you have one.

On you laptop, hold down the "Fn" key, then, while keeping Fn held down, press "Scr Lk" key - numkeys are now enabled. On your keyboard, the numkeys will have litte numbers on them in the same arrangement as a numpad - look at your laptop keyboard closely and you will see them. Then you should be able to use your num keys just like your normal NUMPAD. Remember to de-activete the numpad when you're done by pressing Fn-Scr Lk again - otherwise you won't be able to type the letters on the numpad keys - you will only type the numbers.
