v3.0 is released!
  • Added new rover with working MFD, animated wheels, earth-tracking HGA, headlights, landing system, and more!
  • Added Action Areas feature (Just like in UMMU).
  • New scenarios for the rover launch/landing mission phase.

There are several steps to landing and deploying the rover, please read the manual!

Opps Duh, Nevermind, I didn't realize you were updating directly to Hanger, never re looked at the download versions, Much appreciate the efforts on this Mod. Great work!

got one question though...
descend engine, how to control it ? I looked at read me and couldn't find it. or I start loosing my sight :)

This is a really challenging mission!
A good working knowledge of LTMFD as well as basic spaceflight procedures such as rendezvous, docking, etc. are a must!
I have included a bunch of mission scenarios to help you figure out how to fly the mission.
If you need help with something specific, please feel free to ask me on the forums. :)

Keyboard commands (LWLL):
G = Deploy landing gear
J = Stop all RCS jets (see LOLA MFD note)
ESCAPE = Arm/Disarm the main engine
1 = Docked: Transfer CDR to/from the LWLL
Landed: Start CDR surface EVA
2 = Docked: Transfer PLT to/from the LWLL
Landed: Start PLT surface EVA

Keyboard commands (EVA Astronaut):
Numpad 8/2 = Walk forward/backward
Numpad 1/3 = Turn left/right
Numpad 4/6 = Walk sideways left/right
W/S = Raise/lower EVA visor
E = End EVA (must be next to a ladder or the rover. If getting on the rover, you have to be on the correct side; CDR = left, PLT = right.)
Ctrl L = Turn lights on/off
Tab = Activate action area (See note)

Keyboard commands (HAB):
1 = Start CDR EVA
2 = Start PLT EVA
K = Stow/Deploy table (only if cabin pressurized)
E = Depressurize/Pressurize cabin (only if table stowed)
G = Open/Close EVA hatch (only if cabin depressurized)
V = Vent propellants after landing
Action Area:
Near the ladder = Open/Close the EVA hatch

Keyboard commands (HAB with LOI stage):
Really easy, only one key!
J = Release HAB

Keyboard commands (Rover):
Be aware, keys only work once the rover is deployed!
Numpad 8 = Drive forward
Numpad 2 = Brakes
Numpad 4 = Turn left
Numpad 6 = Turn right
Numpad 5 = Set steering to zero
Ctrl Numpad 4 = Turn left slowly
Ctrl Numpad 6 = Turn right slowly
Ctrl Numpad 2 = Drive backward (watch out for rocks and stuff!)
Ctrl L = Turn lights on/off
1 = CDR gets off rover
2 = PLT gets off rover
Q/A = Raise/lower CDR EVA visor
W/S = Raise/lower PLT EVA visor
Action Areas:
Left side = Deploy the left seat back, tool rack, and center console.
Right side = Deploy the right seat back, tool rack, and center console.
Front = Deploy the HGA.

Configuration options: You will find these options in the file "Config\Vessels\LWLL\LEVA_OPTIONS.txt"
OXYGEN = Sets how many hours of oxygen you will have in the LWLL and EVA suits.
WALK_SPEED = How fast the EVA astronauts walk in m/s
TURN_SPEED = How fast the EVA astronauts turn in deg/s
CDR_NAME = Name of the CDR. ONLY applies if not set in scenario!
PLT_NAME = Name of the PLT. ONLY applies if not set in scenario!

Descent engine on all the landers is set up as a hover engine, you can control it using the standard Orbiter keys. Numpad 0 to throttle up, and Numpad decimal to throttle down.
