A quick Google search turns it up (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=mfdlib) as does an Orbiter-Forum search (eg, http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?p=121446&highlight=mfdlib#post121446 & http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?p=28802&highlight=mfdlib#post28802).

I have used it regularly in the past but note though that MFDlib uses GDI functions and is not compatible with the new Orbiter 2010 Sketchpad interface. It would be better to use Sketchpad directly, or you can update MFDlib to use it (source code is included IIRC).

unfortunately, i believe this doesn't really work with the new SDK...
when i tried it, i got a few errors, then i carried on without it and just left it as that....

i really encourage you to not dismiss the sketchpad so easily... specially if you're trying to keep things simple - that's what it's there for
