Just a quick 5 minute job:
it adds an XR Cargo attachment point, so you can put your DGIV's MTKSSAT in an XR2 without adding UCD

REQUIRES:
XR2 and DGIV (available from dougs orbiter page and dansteph's page respectivley)
those two get all the credit, all i did was add a few lines to a config file

any problems, drop a PM or post on the OH/OF thread, and ill see what i can do, but something this simple cant go wrong...

murphy's law....thats all there is to it.......

really good, i like it

like i said, its just a 5 minute job, i just found it faster than messing about with UCD every time, then since i had a new file, i decided some people here (who may not have the knowledge or patience to do this (we all start somewhere ;))) could make use of it.

now to see if i can get this to lunar orbit, land at a base, take off back to LLO, and return to earth, all without refueling ;)

Great minds think alike. I just did a mission with the XR2 where I put the MTKSSAT into orbit and used UCD to attach the payload into the bay, and because of UCD, I had this annoying "warning nose cone closed" aural warning go off the entire time. I was then going to set up MTKSSAT to be an XR2 cargo so it can be properly stowed in the bay, but what do I see? Grover beat me to the punch.

Thanks for doing the work for me. I love it.

yea, maybe the "nosecone closed" warning should only sound when you're lined up for docking with it...

and it was dead simple, i was trying to do a lunar return trim on a single tank with a DGIV, deploying the sat at 200km lunar orbit on the way there, but the DGIV doesnt like aerobraking, so i decided to try it with the XR2, and found that the SAT was only a few mm longer (XRs z axis) than the bay slot, so i could fit the CHM and a fuel tank in there as well, though i still cant land back at WIN yet due to piloting skill requirements :P
