Maybe the altitude steps for the shuttle should be shortened a bit. For the slow roll maybe the roll thrust shall be increased a bit. Just guessing

I changed some parameters, timing is quite normal now, but somehow I feel that shuttle exhibits yaw manoeuver during roll. Beginning of roll was normal, but then somehow noticable yaw appears for a few seconds, and end of roll is quite normal again...
(I changed fifth row from 20.0 to 9.0 seconds, to make roll earlier).

roll program does not perform only roll. It turns the entire vehicle to the desired attitude, it's a three axial manuevre. But as far as I know also the real one was like this.

Yes, it can be that way. Actually, it looks 95% OK, so it not an issue. Your Multistage2015 + Hutcison's released LC39 pad package are an outstanding achievement, and shuttle program can be recreated fairly well.

I don t know which missions you are currently simulating, but remember also the "inverse ()" call for the autopilot. It was made to simulate the shuttle-like vehicles that are willing to return upright during flight

Thanks, exactly!

ms2015 perform its duties reading your programmed guidance and saves (if you choose to) its actual status and information on a dedicated telemetry file. It serves to many scopes, such as checking how far from the desired parameters the rocket is performing or to figure how to get a better performance.

Also, with the MFD you can preload a saved telemetry file that will be drawn in dimmed colors on the screen, while you'll have the current parameters drawn in bright colors in order to check live the status of your vehicle.

Yeah ... some sort of standard telemetry format for Orbiter add-ons might be interesting, so the same tools could be used there... but I doubts its realistic.

Just began to update markings of ET and SRB (for fun), on different multistage2015 based space shuttle flights (not altering shapes of ET's and SRB's, just textures). Because it is obvious that changes happened as the years passed by.
Then I looked at this (AXM modelling site), ooooh... it is the most valuable file I have seen in this area:

Yes! I like that site. I'm building the Ariane5 with Hermes at the moment, seriously, like I'm holding the fairing while it dries (although, the Ariane isn't a design by Alphonso)

Have the Shuttle stack printed for a while now, but work has prevented me from cutting anything.

I have just started exploring the capabilities of this add-on and wonder I could get a hand with the following questions:
  1. Is it possible to simulate simultaneous symmetrical fairing separation like this? It's not clear to me how to trigger multiple separations with one keypress. On a related note, in the included SLS example, it appears that on a jettison or fairing separation event, the item just disappears suddenly rather than gradually falling away. Is this a behaviour others have observed and if so, how have you got around it?
  2. Looking through the release documentation, I can't find any reference to attitude control thrusters - is this what "ullage" refers to?
  3. Assuming it is possible to define attitude control thrusters, is it possible to specify different Isp and propellant resources for both the main engine and attitude control thrusters?

So I see the max number of fairings is 10. But can you have more than 1 set?

Like in the SLS block 1B There are 4 above the EUS and then 3 around Orion.

The 10 limit is about the number of elements i think, the N.
At the moment there is no implementation of more than one set of fairing, you can put them on as fake boosters i think

On Quasar I've used two different types of fairing at the same time, simply setting one of them as fake booster and the another as the "real" fairing.

You must add also the engines and some fuel parameters. Use small numbers so it won't be visibile

It's the scenario file that fuels it up. My guess is that since you added the new booster tanks the number of the tanks changed and the old ones are not loaded. Try to delete the prplevel entry in the scenario
