Simply, choose a mythology, a novel, a poem, a cycle of tales or sacred book you like particularly and stick with it throughout. A long one, preferably, with characters to suit every planet and help remember which is which. Those are the better sounding names chosen by SF authors.

Chanson de Roland: Charlemagne, Roland (with Durandal and Olifant for moons), Olivier, Turpin, Marsile, Ogier, Baligant, etc.
Don Quixote: Alonso (or Quijano), Sancho, Sanson (or Carrasco), Gines (or Pasamonte), Dulcinea, Quiteria, Cardenio, Lucinda, Lothario, Anselmo, Crisostomo, Marcela, etc.
Shinto: Amaterasu, Izanami, Susano, etc.
Christianity: Christos, Ioannes (Evangelista and Baptista), Iacobi, Petrus, the rest of the apostles, and then some early saints in latin, greek or aramaic.
