Problem Night Lights

I'm currently working on the Tau Ceti System (veeeery slowly) and have run into some problems with Night lights. I've messed around with the settings in Pltex but I can't seem to stop the night lights from turning out blocky and ugly.

Here is what i mean.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. :tiphat:

No ideas on what to do with planetary texture maps unfortunately. Can you elaborate on whether the night lights are artificial or natural in origin?

They are natural and come from high levels of volcanic activity similar to Io.
