Hey!

I'm a student from Germany and discovered Orbiter as a very cool Space Flight Simulation!:speakcool:
Well, I tested some functions and everything was perfect except the VC, I don't know why, but it doesn't work in any of my spaceships...
There are just white screens instead of, for example, the MFD...
I searched the beginner's forum to ensure that nobody else had this problem before me, so if there's already another thread with this topic I'm sorry for that!

Thanks for your help!
Chris

Its just an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, but everything else works fine, it can't be the graphics card...
I've got a very new Computer...

If your graphic card is not up to the task, it can happen. And IGMA is practically just better as nothing.

Sorry, but your computer is not able to do much more than just office and web-browsing. Even when it is new - even a low budget graphic accelerator for about 25 € has about 50 times more power.

That is the good thing about the older integrated GPUs. They didn't produce so much misdrawings as the newer ones.
Let's see if we can circumvate this by choosing another option in the video tab. Check always enumerate devices and then try all HALs and the RGB emulation.

Thanks!
I set the color depth to 16 bit, now it's working...:speakcool:
What was the Problem with 32 bit?

My Computer isn't too bad...
I've no problems working with bitmaps around 500Mb...
I can do a lot more than just work with text and surf the internet...
Well just RGB Emulation is very slow but Direct 3D HAL works very fine, even at high resolutions...

Thanks again for your help!
