Love the .gif (y)
Not the first 3rd person images of landing on the Moon in Orbiter, I'm sure, but I'm interested to compare it to the real thing from EagleCam in due course. No coincidence having Earth in the background, I reckon.

Nova-C "Odysseus" landed succesfully (apparently not so succesful after all, still alive though)
There seemed to be some communications trouble at first but looks like they sorted that out.
I'm still waiting to see the pics from EagleCam!
EDIT: No pics from EagleCam then :-(

It's traditional now. Eagle cam should still have worked though- might look a little embarrassing!
- ok I just heard they didn't release it at all?

Seems that during the patching and reset they did to use the new lasers for landing, Eagle deploy was disabled and they didn't have time to worry about that. Now that it's down they'll get to it and try to get a picture.

don't know what's with these people today
they just can't land legs first.
first that japanese lander (which didn't had legs!?) now this !?
oh glory Apollo days :hailprobe:
and what about the tv footage !? I was watching live stream in hope to finally see some 4K (if not 8K) Moon landing
but did I got ? holding breath for like 15 minutes to even know did we do it !?? for christ's sake...
they had tv cams it in '69 and with all the intuitive (pun intended) technology - not any
maybe they'll release it after spacecraft returns back to Earth ? :censored:
