...flying high into the north!

Sadly, I don't have enough time to pre-fly both legs in FSX.
Anyway, here's a shot:

It should be easy to guess via which Airport I'll be travelling today...

It was a rather quick decision to fly to Norway again this year, from Hanover to Bergen, on a ERJ-190 (propably PH-EZD), which is completely new to me, and on a 737-700 (PH-BGH).

Departure is just four hours away, you can see me on flightradar24.com when searching for KL1900 after 04:20 UTC and KL1185 after 06:30 UTC.
(most ERJs have no ADS-B transponder, so the first leg will most likely only be visible for premium users)

I will try to get back to O-F this evening, with some nice plane photos.

It's a KLM flight, so it makes sense that it would stop in it's major hub.

Yes, but it still feels somewhat stupid. According to Wolfram Alpha, the distance between Hanover and Bergen is 49 km....wrong Bergen.... 928 km. Hanover-Amsterdam is 330 km. Amsterdam-Bergen is 892 km. Means he travels nearly 30% longer distance compared to a direct flight.

Well, it's a bit hard to get direct flights there. AFAIK SAS via Copenhagen is also possible.

Last year I wanted to fly from JFK to Manchester, UK and the cheapest flight stopped over at Atlanta. I flew hundreds of miles south and then a few hours later, flew back over New York again...
