Hi all, i'm a bit new to orbiter and i'm seeing a lot of addons that look really nice but i'm confused as how to download and install them. I have found no real clear explinations on how to install addons except for something telling me to check the box that says use folder names in my unzip program. I have seen no such box so that is why I post this asking for help. Thanks!

If you open up the addon zip file you'll see several directories:
Config
Meshes
Textures
Scenarios
Modules
Not all will be there so if it's missing say Modules then don't worry too much about it.
What you do is unzip into the Orbiter directory, e.g c:\orbiter and you tick the box to preserve the structure, this allows the files in the config directory to go into c:\orbiter\config the files in textures to go into c:\orbiter\textures and so on.
It's basically a 1 to 1 relationship between the addons folders and those in your orbiter installation.
