People talk about upload and download, which is what people do.
If you look at the meshes, you will realize that it is a computing maneuver that takes place in the Y axis. But there are other possibilities.
But also we have leftloading and rightloading in the X axis.
We do not like leftloading because 3 lefts can make a right, while 2 wrongs acn make a right, so it is more efficient to do a wrongload instead of a leftload, and that's exactly why we do not like to add left thrusters to a craft, but wrong thrusters.
Also you may have frontload and backload in the Z axis.
Since orbit is a freefall trajectory, and heavier side of a craft use to be oriented in the direction of the fall (prograde) in ballistic trajectories, we decided that payloads should be placed on the nose, because we want to avoid the negative effects of gravity gradient.
And talking about negative, we use to compensate negative axis with some positive attitude, and the result is electricity. The only problem is when crew becomes so positive that they interfere with instruments, because human brain produce enough energy to light a lightbulb and it consumes about 20% of human body energy.
We have had cases of lightings coming from high atmosphere to the moon because of astronauts with very positive atitude, which means they were oriented towards a positive axis with highly energetic and highly ionized sense of humor.
So you wonder how to understand the complex math of Orbiter. Now you understand how an axis can help to produce electricity and how we calculate things when making addons.
